Delhi tutor arrested for giving injections to students to improve memory

A 20-year old Delhi based tutor has been arrested by Delhi Police for giving normal saline solution injections to his students to ‘improve their memory’.

Police said the accused Sandeep, a BA student, also gives tuition to students of Classes 6 to 9. The matter came to light after the police were tipped-off by the parent of one of the students.

The caller told police that a man in Mandawali was giving tuition to children of the locality and administering a normal saline injection to his students.

Sub Inspector Ajit said he visited the spot and questioned Sandeep, an undergraduate student. Sandeep told police that he saw on YouTube that if a student is given a normal saline solution, then his memory improves.

Following the complaint, a case was registered against the 20-year-old at Mandawali police station under Section 336 of the Indian Penal Code (endangering human life by the negligent act).
