Dujana was just freed from prison after being granted bail in a murder case

The Uttar Pradesh police's special task force has shot dead another gangster in an encounter.

Anil Dujana, who was known to terrorise people in Noida, Ghaziabad and other areas in Delhi-NCR, was killed in the encounter with the UP Police's special task force (STF) in Meerut.

Dujana had 62 cases registered against him, including that of murder and extortion. Dujana was just freed from prison after being granted bail in a murder case. Immediately after that, according to sources, he began threatening one of the crucial witnesses in the murder accusation filed against him. Dujana had decided to kill the witness, they said.

The STF then moved to make the arrest. Dujana and his gang confronted the police during the operation, starting a gunfight that ended with his death, according to sources.

The incident took place in a Meerut village on an unpaved road that was bordered by tall shrubs. He and his crew, according to the police, were there hiding out when the STF agents approached and started firing. The police unit promptly returned fire.

Who was Anil Dujana?

Anil Dujana's name was associated with terror in Gautam Budh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Delhi-NCR, and Haryana.

On April 10, 2023, he was let out of prison. He threatened the witnesses who were speaking against him in Gautam Budh Nagar as soon as he was let out of jail.

Gangster Naresh Bhati, who was allegedly killed by Sundar Bhati, was close to Anil Dujana. Following that, Dujana attacked Sundar Bhati.

Anil Dujana took over the leadership of his gang following the passing of Naresh Bhati.
