Sonali Phogat, a leader of the Haryana BJP, struggled to keep her balance as a guy held her and guided her to a table, according to CCTV footage that is thought to have shown the final few hours of Phogat's life.
In the less-than-a-minute-long clip accessed by India Today TV, Sonali Phogat, dressed in red crop top and blue shorts, is seen limping into the pub, holding on to a man for support - suspected to be Sudhir Sangwan - her aide and an accused in her murder case.
Sukhwinder Wasi, her other aide and the second defendant in her suspected murder, is also thought to have been there and was photographed by the camera. The video has a timestamp of 4:27 am.
The Goa Police have detained both Sangwan and Wasi.
Around nine in the morning on August 23, Sonali Phogat was taken to a hospital in Goa, where she was declared dead. The Goa Police immediately filed a murder case after the postmortem report revealed that Phogat had suffered blunt force injuries, even though the police had initially reported a case of unnatural death and it was claimed that she had died of a heart attack.
