The highly prestigious national award Champions of Change Award 2021 was organized on 26 February 2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. Former Hon’ble President of India Sh. Ram Nath Kovind was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Sh. Ram Nath Kovind conferred the awardees with Gold medal and certificates.

Madhavan is an Indian actor, writer, director, and producer who predominantly appears in Tamil and Hindi films. Over the course of his career, he has been a recipient of several accolades.
In addition to his acting career, Madhavan has worked as a writer on his films and hosted some remarkable television programs. He has also worked as a film producer, first making Evano Oruvan with Leukos Films, before setting up Tricolour Films to produce Saala Khadoos (2016).
Madhavan is noted for his philanthropic activities and promotes various causes such as environment, health, and education. He is particularly vocal about the protection of animals and was awarded PETA's Person of the Year recognition in 2011. In 2021, he was conferred the honorary degree of Doctor of Letters by D. Y. Patil Education Society, Kolhapur, for his contribution to arts and cinema.

Balakrishnan, Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairman NHRC along with former judges of the Supreme Court of India, diplomats and senior journalists.
Interactive Forum on Indian Economy annually organizes Champions of Change Award at International, National and state-Level in India and it is usually presented by the President, Vice-President, Governor or the constitutional persons of India. From this year onwards, this award will be organized internationally at Washington DC, USA by the name of ‘Global Champion of Change’.
