The third edition of the Indian Achievers Award was organized on 25th January 2023 at NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi. The Chief Guest of the occasion was Sh Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Govt of India. The Eminent Jury of the award function was being headed by Hon'ble Justice KG Balakrishnan (Former Chief Justice of India & Former Chairman, NHRC) & other Former Supreme Court Judges. Other jury members include Former IAS & IFS officers along with Veteran Journalists.
The recipients of the Indian Achievers Award included Hindi Poet Late Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Param Vir Chakra Capt Yogendra Singh Yadav, Param Vir Chakras Capt Bana Singh, Former Indian Cricketer Virender Sehwag, Film Actor Karisma Kapoor, Padma Shri Shyam Sunder Paliwal, Suryakant Sakpal, Nidarshana Goswami, IPS OP Singh, Dr Suyomi Shah, Ramesh Mohanlal Vyas, Meghraj Jain, Poonam Khaira Sidhu, Kedarmal Jhaketia, Radhesham Tiwari, Jaydeep Kumar, Dr. Kiran Dane, Upendar Rao Kollu, CA Suresh Jha, Samir Mulla, Actor Anil Singh Chandel, Dr. B Ravindra Prasad, Ankur Khandelwal, Sunil Kathotia, Vijay Kumar Yerram, Dr Abhishek Pratap Singh, Dr Prince Mishra, Arun Subramony, Vinay Ram, Awal Madaan, Dr Sudheer Dara, Gopikrishna Manepally and Susheel Bhardwaj.
Mr Nitin Gadkari in his speech said, “I am extremely happy that today we have honoured two national heroes Param Vir Chakras Capt Yogendra Singh and Capt Bana Singh. I want to heartily congratulate them and say that we are extremely proud of you. We feel so safe in our houses because soldiers like these protect our country.” Talking about the great poet Sh Ramdhari Singh Dinkar he said, “We can never forget the patriotic writings of Poet Ramdhari Singh Dinkar Ji who have written so much about the freedom fighters of the country. I really commemorate him on this special occasion which will always motivate us towards patriotism.” He further added, “I also want to congratulate all other awardees who have done tremendous work, be it in sports, films or social service. It is not important how long we live but it is important that how we spend that life and people like Virender Sehwag have shown us throw their lives that how we should lead our lives. I sometimes feel that in our society people who do good work are not awarded and how to bad deeds are not punished. So it is really important to recognize people who do good work and award them. It also motivates others to be like them. I consider myself to be an average man and not that qualified but I believe in ‘karmanye vadhikaraste ma falashu kadachana’ which means you should think about work not worry about results”. He also stressed on the importance of alleviating pollution as it has become one of the major problems of the country today.
Justice Gyan Sudha Misra in her speech congratulated all the awardees for their tremendous amount of work in their respective fields. She said that honouring great personalities like Late Sh Dinkar ji, Param Vir Chakras Capt Yogendra Singh and Capt Bana Singh and others like Karisma Kapoor and Virender Sehwag is a very special occasion. She also mentioned the great amount of respect she has for all the great people who were awarded especially Dinkar ji and shared some of her personal life experiences about the great poet.
Mr Nandan Jha in his speech expressed his contentment about honouring great people like Late Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Param Vir Chakras Capt Yogendra Singh and Capt Bana Singh. He also said that it is always a great pleasure to honour people who have made such an impact on our lives. He added that we have grown up listening to Dinkar ji’s poetry. He also congratulated all the award winners for making immense contribution to the society. He also appreciated the great work done by the Chief Guest of the occasion Sh Nitin Gadkari during his tenure as Minister for Road Transport and Highways.
Justice KG Balakrishnan in his speech said that the Indian Achievers Award is a special award as it recognises the efforts and dedication of citizens who come forward to serve the nation in various domains. He also said that it also motivates others to come forward and work for the society. People like Capt Yogendra Singh and Capt Bana Singh are huge inspirations for the society as they have served the nation at the highest level. Others also deserve special applause for their efforts.

Indian Achievers Award is a prestigious Indian National Award for acknowledging and recognizing the efforts and dedication of citizens who come forward to serve the nation in various domains like Healthcare, Education, Entrepreneurship, Social Activism and Unity.
