The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has chosen to boycott the new Parliament's May 28 inaugural ceremony after the Trinamool Congress (TMC) made the same decision.

Earlier, TMC leader and Rajya Sabha member Derek O'Brien announced that the party would skip the new Parliament's inauguration.

Derek even launched a vicious assault on Prime Minister Modi, claiming that the ceremony to inaugurate the new Parliament was "all about I, me, myself" for him.
