Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Champions of Change 2020 awardee MK Stalin won the hearts of MS Dhoni’s fans by presenting a special message for Chennai Super Kings' captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni at The Champions Call on Saturday.

Praising MS Dhoni, MK Stalin expressed his desire to see MS Dhoni playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for many years to come. Tamil Nadu CM Stalin was attending the function organized by CSK at Kalaivanar Arangam in Chennai. The event was also attended by BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, N Srinivasan, MS Dhoni, Kapil Dev and others.

Speaking at the ceremony, Champions of Change 2020 awardee MS Stalin said, "Dear MS Dhoni, we wish you to lead the Chennai Super Kings for many seasons." He said, “MS Dhoni, you are from Jharkhand but for us, for the people of Tamil Nadu, you are one of us”.

DMK Party President Muthuvel Karunanidhi Stalin was honoured with the prestigious Champions of Change Award 2020. The awardees were chosen by a constitutional jury headed by KG Balakrishnan, former CJI and former chairman, NHRC.

Champions of Change is an Indian award, for promoting Gandhian values, (Swachata), community service and social development (in Aspirational district in india), selected by constitutional jury members headed by K.G. Balakrishnan, Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairman NHRC. It is given annually in four categories, and usually presented by the President, Vice-President, Prime Minister of India or a leading figure. Mr. Nandan Jha is the founder and head of Champions of Change Award.

The inaugural Champions of Change Award was held in 2018 and it was distributed by the Vice-President of India M.Venkaiah Naidu at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
