Airport Authority of India's former chairman Shri Anuj Aggarwal passed away on Thursday morning due to the Covid 19. The former director of Jaipur Airport was the senior-most board member of the AAI and gave 32 years to the aviation sector.
Aggarwal was a man of action, a leader par excellence who rose through the ranks at AAI and has left an indelible mark in the minds of all the people he had met. He will be missed dearly,” AAI said in a statement.
Aggarwal was a resident of the Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. According to the sources, from past few days he had a corona after which he was admitted to a private hospital in Delhi where he succumbed during the treatment.

Aggarwal was a graduate from BITS Pilani. Sh. Aggarwal joined AAI in 1989 as Asst. Executive Engineer (Civil) & became Board Member in 2014. As the senior-most Board Member, he worked as Officiating Chairman of AAI, twice. He also served as Airport Director of Goa, Jaipur & Ahmedabad Airports.
