PM Modi in his address in ‘Man Ki Baat’ today made it clear that no one can mess with India and we very well know how to answer back if anyone dares to do that. Earlier on June 14, PM Narendra Modi had tweeted ahead of his scheduled Mann ki Baat programme, urging people to send their ideas and inputs for his monthly address.
In a clear reference to China, PM said that India knows how to maintain friendship, but it can certainly look someone in the eye and retaliate. He paid tribute to the Indian soldiers and said that our brave-hearts have shown that they won’t let any harm be done to 'Mother India'. Their valour will always be remembered. Families who lost their sons, still want to send their other children to defence forces. Their spirit and sacrifice is venerable, PM said.
Extolling the efforts of many for promoting 'being vocal about local,' Modi said People from all over India are writing, reiterating their support to the movement to make India self-reliant.
PM Modi said that India is unlocking and it is a time to work together to make the country "self-reliant". "India is unlocking, be it in sectors like coal, space, agriculture and more. Time to work together to make India self-reliant and technologically advanced," he said.
In the context of the pandemic, PM said that as compared to lockdown, we need to be even more careful now during unlock. If you don't wear masks, follow social distancing and take other precautions, you put yourself as well as others at risk. I appeal to all countrymen to not be careless, he added.
