Ten die after fire breaks out at a Jabalpur Hospital

According to Jabalpur district collector Allaiya Raja, ten people are officially dead and three others have serious injuries as a result of the fire

On Monday, a large fire broke out at a private hospital in the Jabalpur area of Madhya Pradesh. The event happened at the New Life Multispecialty Hospital in the Chandal Bhata neighbourhood, close to the Gohalpur police station.

According to Jabalpur district collector Allaiya Raja, ten people are officially dead and three others have serious injuries as a result of the fire.

Firefighters arrived on the scene quickly, and the fire was put out. According to reports, the patients have been transferred to different hospitals.

Siddhartha Bahuguna, the superintendent of police in Jabalpur, confirmed the tragedy and added that four individuals died instantly from severe burns. Along with this, three individuals who sustained severe burns continue to be in a critical state. "Additionally, more than a dozen people are hurt. Identification of the dead is underway, "added Bahuguna.

According to reports, the majority of those inside became stuck because there was only one way to leave the facility. In the beginning, not even the fire brigade vehicles could put out the fire. After an hour of work, the fire was put out when the employees of the energy department severed the power connection.
