The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Kesavan Nampoori as Executive Director of Fertilizers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT Ltd.), a fertilizer and chemical manufacturing company headquartered in Kochi, Kerala.

According to an order from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), he has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till September 30, 2022, i.e. the date of his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Currently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.

As Director (Technical) in FACT, Kesavan will act as head of the Technical & Operations division of the company. His responsibilities will be to ensure the efficient operation of the plants of the company in a manner that would also ensure optimum utilization of resources. He will also act as Principal Adviser of the company in all technical and operations matters.
