Parts of Delhi see heavy rainfall, temperature dips

The weather service had earlier predicted a mostly cloudy sky, light rain, and isolated thundershowers on Saturday

On Saturday, the national capital had heavy downpours that lowered the temperature. The India Meteorological Department reported that the minimum temperature was 28.3 degrees Celsius (IMD).

The weather service had earlier predicted a mostly cloudy sky, light rain, and isolated thundershowers on Saturday.

On Sunday, the maximum and minimum temperatures are predicted to be about 37 and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC), New Delhi.

The IMD forecasted light to moderate rain and thundershowers for Delhi and the Delhi-NCR region, writing, "Thunderstorms with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjacent areas." (sic)
