After the gradual decline in coronavirus cases, people are now facing the epidemic of inflation. Now that the coronavirus has slowed down, people want to get out of their houses, but how?  

The prices of petrol have crossed Rs 100 per litre while diesel is over Rs 90 per litre. Car owners are wondering what to do? Sell ​​cars and travel by buses, metro or auto rickshaws, but even their fares are reaching sky high. The prices of petrol and diesel have not only affected the middle class but lower class also. With the rise in the price of oil, the prices of food products have also started touching the sky.

Vegetables have proven to be very costly while fruits are beyond the reach of customers. The shopkeepers are extremely unpleasant given that their fruits are now sold very less and are lying rotten. People have started consuming less fruits and vegetables while the prices of pulses have also increased drastically.

The life of the common man was already difficult but coronavirus has made it more painful. The salaries of government servants, MPs and ministers may have remained the same, but the income of non-government employees, labourers and domestic servants has almost halved. Not only them, but even capable people like journalists suffered a lot during this pandemic. Many small media houses were closed. Those which are running have halved the salaries of their employees and sent off dozens of journalists. Many newspapers stopped sending remuneration to the retired journalists who make their living by writing articles.

Even tailors and washermen have suffered a lot. When people were surrounded in their homes, there was no need to get clothes cleaned through a washerman and get new clothes stitched by a tailor? Lacs of labourers remained lying in their villages due to the business of building construction coming to a standstill. The same thing happened to the drivers. If only someone had money, it was the doctors and hospital owners. They became richer by the day but those doctors, nurses and employees will always be worthy of reverence, who diligently served the patients during this pandemic and many of them didn’t even care about their lives. They were Gods in the form of humans.

It is not to be forgotten that there were numerous patients during this period of inflation who couldn’t even receive proper medication. Thousands lost their lives due to lack of treatment. The central and state governments have tried their best to control the corona, but if they cannot control this inflation, then these profiteers will drown these governments. Inflation will prove to be more dangerous than Corona's attack. People somehow tolerated coronavirus as the wrath of God, but the anger of inflation will not only descend on the profiteers, the public will not even spare the government.
