'Bharat' witnesses downfall at Box Office

Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' is facing a downward slide at the Box Office

The movie is at the end of its second week and its box office has witnessed a sharp decline in its ticket sales. The power-packed action drama has raked in Rs 188.65 crore so far. Bharat's box office collection crossed the Rs 150-crore mark within 5 days of its release.

Jointly produced by Reel Life Productions, Salman Khan Films, and T-Series, the Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif starrer is full of drama, action, emotion, and comedy. Bharat was released on 4,700 screens in India and on over 1,300 screens overseas. It has been released in as many as 43 countries worldwide. Along with the star cast and Bharat box office collection, the movie is one of the biggest releases of the year.

Salman Khan had recently spoken about the film’s success in a group interview. He said, “I am very happy with the film doing really really well. Everyone’s work is being appreciated. I have not done these many interviews to promote the film that I am doing now. But it’s okay because all those people who have watched the film and liked it, this is to say a big thank you to them. People, who have gone to watch the film, are doing a good job by talking good about the film and encouraging others to watch it. But if people haven’t watched the film and they are not taking these people seriously, then I, myself, am going to say that go and watch it. It’s a good film.”
