Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer 'Bharat' has set the box office on fire. The movie has earned more than 73 crore rupees in just 2 days. As per the reports, the movie, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, raked up Rs 31 crore on the day 2 of its release. Bharat hit the screens on Eid, June 5. The film has smashed the opening day records of Salman Khan's previous Eid releases. Released in 4700 screens across India, Bharat has managed to get a superb opening at the box office.
Salman Khan is exblockquoted by the overwhelming response film has received. The superstar took to Twitter to thank his fans for giving him his career's biggest opener. Salman wrote "Big thank you sabko for giving sabse bada opening mere career ka par what made me the happiest & proudest is ki during a scene in my film jab national anthem is reblockquoted everyone stood up as a mark of respect. There could be no bigger respect for our country than this... Jai Hind".
Apart from Salman Khan, the film features Katrina Kaif as Kumud Raina, Tabu as Meher, Sunil Grover as Vilayti Khan and Disha Patani as Radha. It also includes Varun Dhawan in special appearance as young Dhirubhai Ambani.
