Jury members looked at the development rankings of Aspirational Districts, studied the factors of change, and those responsible for it. The contributions were evaluated on five basic parameters: health and nutrition, secondary education, agriculture, and water resources, financial inclusion, skill development, and infrastructure.

I understand that Health & Nutrition, Education, Agriculture & Water Resources, Financial Inclusion & Skill Development, and Basic Infrastructure are core areas of focus in the Aspirational Districts. @Power_Corridors @panchayatitimes #ChampionsOfChange pic.twitter.com/OEB24ZFxoL

It may be recalled that the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, had launched the Aspirational Districts Programme (ADP) in January 2018. It is aimed at balanced development in the country by uplifting 115 districts with the combined efforts of the Centre and states. Over 15 percent of India’s population lives in these districts.

I have no hesitation in saying that the #ChampionsofChange Awards is an endeavor to tell the world about positive developments in India. It is crucial that the stories of people who toil for the betterment of their brethren be told again and again. @Power_Corridors pic.twitter.com/QCtMWdoU1F
