G20 2019 : Terrorism biggest threat to humanity, says PM Modi

On the sidelines of the G20 summit in Japan's Osaka Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said Terrorism is the biggest threat to humanity

Osaka, Japan. June 28, 2019. Meeting American President Donald Trump during the ongoing two days summit PM Modi discussed a wide range of subjects. This is the first Modi-Trump meeting after PM Modi's re-election in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls. Significant bilateral and global issues including trade, defence, Iran and 5G communications networks were among the issues addressed by PM Modi on the sidelines of the Summit.

This was one of the one on one discussions  during PM Modi’s meeting with Mr Trump after PM Modi, Mr Trump and Shinzo Abe met for the Japan-America-India trilateral.While speaking during the informal BRICS leaders’ meeting here Mr. Without mincing words Modi held that there is a need to stop all the mediums of support to terrorism and racism.

Touching upon various issues the two top leaders seem to be agreeing with each other. Appreciating the bilateral relations, the US President held, "We have become great friends and our countries have never been closer. I can say that with surety. We will work together in many ways including military, we will be discussing trade today,"
