Veteran Bollywood Actor, Director and Writer Satish Kaushik passed away on Thursday morning following a heart attack. The famous actor was 66.

Some of his memorable performances include Ram-Lakhan, Deewana Mastana and Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. He was an alumnus of the National School of Drama and the FTII, Pune.

After his demise, several bollywood personalities paid tributes to him.

Actor Kangana Ranaut, who worked with Kaushik in her upcoming film "Emergency", remembered the actor as a "kind and genuine man".

"Woke up to this horrible news, he was my biggest cheerleader, a very successful actor and director #SatishKaushik ji personally was also a very kind and genuine man, I loved directing him in Emergency. He will be missed, Om Shanti," she tweeted.

Actor Suniel Shetty in his post wrote, "Today, we've lost one of the finest of the film industry. His memory will be a blessing to all those who knew and loved him. Heartfelt condolences to the family. #RestInPeace #SatishKaushik."
