The total number of novel coronavirus cases in India rose to 415 today after 30 fresh cases were reported, according to Health Ministry data. The figure includes 41 foreign nationals and the seven deaths reported so far. The 415 figure also includes 24 people who have been cured, discharged or migrated, it said. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said 18,383 samples have been tested till 10 am on Monday.
Maharashtra is worst hit with 89 confirmed cases. Kerala has the second highest number of cases at 67. COVID-19 has so far claimed two lives in Maharashtra. has reported 30 positive cases, while Uttar Pradesh records 25 cases.
Telangana and Karnataka have reported 26 cases each. Punjab and Ladakh have 13 cases each. Gujarat has 14 cases while Jammu and Kashmir has four.
Tamil Nadu records six cases. Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand reported three cases each. West Bengal reported four cases. Odisha has two cases.
In Punjab, the number of COVID-19 affected patients stands at 21.
Telangana has reported 21 cases. Uttar Pradesh and have reported 28 cases so far. In Haryana, there are 17 cases, which include 14 foreigners.
