Raj Kundra has been selected for the prestigious Champions of Change Award 2019.
A British born Indian, Raj Kundra a college dropout started his entrepreneurial journey from the age of 17.
Business opportunities in Antwerp, Russia, Ukraine and UAE pushed him forward into various ventures and investments across the board from Mining to Real estate and Renewable energy to Entertainment and Hospitality. In 2020 his mission is to facilitate and plant over 1 million tree’s via a unique partnership with an NGO creating a unique tree bank website called www.verifiedcarbonzero.com where people can pay to plant trees and offset their carbon footprint. ‘I can’t emphasise the importance and role each

This is one of the biggest issues today and doesn’t just involve a country bit involves the world and we need to make a collective change before the global warming impact becomes irreversible and the world we live in won’t be habitable for our future generations.

Champions of Change is an Indian award, for promoting Gandhian values, (Swachata), community service and social development (in Aspirational district in india), selected by constitutional jury members headed by K. G. Balakrishnan, Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairman NHRC. It is given annually in four categories, and usually presented by the President, Vice president, Prime Minister of India or a leading figure.
The foundation, currently headed by Nandan Jha, was created in 2011. The award ceremony is organized annualy.

Champions of Change every year is organized by the Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE), which is a Government of India recognized non-for-profit company (80G, 12A,8A compliant) and its prestigious news magazine, Power Corridors.
