Pakistan set to revive International Cricket at home

The Sri Lankan team only last week cleared about the tour and that too after ten players made themselves unable

The last time Sri Lankan team toured Pakistan, their players were attacked by terrorists in Lahore, leaving a few players injured. Six Sri Lankan players were severely injured while six Pakistan policemen and two civilians were killed during the attack. 

Thereafter Zimbabwe toured Pakistan in 2015 and after that West Indies, Sri Lanka and a World XI team went there. 

The Sri Lankan team only last week cleared about the tour and that too after ten players made themselves unable. The visitors who landed on September 25th have been given Presidential levels of security. 

Hosts Pakistan will be looking to make a mark on the home soil after playing their home games in UAE for many years. Former Captain Misbah-ul-Haq will make his debut as the coach. Under Misbah, Pakistan will also focus on improving the fitness level of their team.
