Indian Badminton star PV Sindhu won a hard fought Round of 32 match against Pai Yu Po of Chinese Taipei to enter next round at Badminton Asia Championships.
The Indian, who has been in a great form of late, after winning the Swiss Open earlier this year, didn’t have a great start to the match as she lost the first game 18-21. In the second game, it was a neck-to-neck battle as Sindhu fought hard to stay in the match and after a few hiccups finally managed to close the game at 27-25.
In the third game, Sindhu took a lead right from the start and went on the win the game and thereby the match by 21-9. The final score line read 18-21, 27-25, 21-9.
Earlier in the day Lakshya Sen suffered a heartbreaking loss to the unseeded Li Shi Feng of China.
