Imran: Referendum in Kashmir?

Bajwa has said that India should find a respectable solution to Kashmir but Imran Khan did not talk away from the tradition

Kashmir Day is observed every year on 5th February in Pakistan. This year, Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan and Senator Javed Bajwa have given statements cautiously. They have refrained from abusing against India. Bajwa has said that India should find a respectable solution to Kashmir but Imran Khan did not talk away from the tradition.

Like the Prime Ministers of the past, he spoke of implementing the UN resolution on Kashmir, and holding a referendum and urged to re-introduce Article 370. My first question to Imran Khan here is whether he has even read the 1948 Kashmir resolution of the United Nations? When Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto said this to me in my first meeting with him in Islamabad, then I had asked him the same question. Seeing their confusion, I read the text of the proposal to her, which I had taken with me.

Its first section says that every Pakistani citizen should be removed from the so-called 'Azad Kashmir' before the referendum. Is this section not being completely violated till date? Not only Pakistani citizens, thousands of army soldiers are enslaving that 'Azad' Kashmir. In 1983, when I had a speech at the Institute of Strategic Studies in Islamabad, it was presided over by the famous leader of Pakistan, Aga Shahi. The same question arose there, so I asked him to read the latest book by that independent Kashmiri writer, according to which ‘Pakistani Kashmir’ becomes a huge brothel on a hot summer day. Today, the reality is that Pakistan's army and leaders are tired of Kashmir. They have tried every trick like War, terror, international pressure, slogan of danger to Islam etc. Now they are raising the slogan of conversation.

Why can't there be a conversation? There must be one.

Kashmir should be independent in the same way as Delhi and Lahore but the matter of separating it would be most harmful to Kashmiris. Will Pakistan separate its Kashmir? Absolutely not.

A separate Kashmir surrounded by Indo-Pak will suffocate. In order for the magnificent and beautiful people of Kashmir to enjoy complete independence, it is necessary that the Pakistani army should stop making it a pawn of its supremacy. Article 370 was actually removed long time ago. Now there is no benefit of crying about it. How can India and Pakistan solve this problem of Kashmir, ever again in detail !
