On Saturday morning, a 5.3-magnitude earthquake shook the Kathmandu Valley and other areas of central Nepal.
Officials stated that there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The epicentre of the 5.3-magnitude earthquake, which occurred at 5:26 am, was in the Nuwakot district's Belkot Gadhi, according to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre.
A devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Nepal in April 2015 left about 9,000 people dead and nearly 22,000 injured. Over 800,000 homes and school buildings were also damaged.
