An influential leader, speaker, author and passionate advocate for South Asian and greater AAPI community, Ajay Jain Bhutoria is a name that needs no recognition. His ability to successfully collaborate with domestic and international leaders is made possible by his global citizenship, strategic thinking, and almost three decades of building good government-business ties.
His decades of broad-based international leadership and long-term global government-business relationships have helped him harness the power of revolutionary technology to create real economic and societal impacts. He served as a leader on the Asian-American Pacific Islander (AAPI) National Leadership Council for Biden 2020 (previously for Hillary 2016). In that capacity, he engaged in outreach to the AAPI community and organized events focused on AAPI issues.
His accomplishments have been aided by his combination of cutting edge technology, top-notch subject matter expertise, effective communication and negotiation abilities, and the respect of regional and international leaders. In addition to the work done for the AAPI National Leadership Council for Biden 2020, Mr. Bhutoria has co-organized local advocacy for minorities, disenfranchised veterans, women, and homeless Americans.
Ajay has been fundraising substantial amounts for DNC , Biden for President 2020 campaign and Hillary for President 2016 and helping Democrats secure South Asian votes in battle ground states.
Mr. Bhutoria has hosted events between US Congressman and India’s elected officials to forge stronger relationships between the US and India. He has worked with India’s elected officials to forge California-India relations in order to expand political, cultural, and economic ties between the State of California and India.
Additionally, he has authored several papers on South Asian geopolitics on issues regarding India-Pakistan, India-China, India-Nepal, India-Sri Lanka across both US and South Asian media.
For his service to the community, Mr. Bhutoria has received the President Obama Volunteer Life-Time Achievement Award for Community Services; California State Assembly Outstanding Community Leadership and Service Award; the Asian American Pacific Leadership Heritage Award; South Asian Global Leadership Award; and the California State Assembly Community Hero Award three times. Abroad, he has received the NRI Power Podium Award, Community Leadership Award from the Delhi Government, and The Times of India Global Achiever Award.
