Controversial statement by Trump for Queen Elizabeth

Though the intention behind the statement is yet not clear still it might invoke controversy

This is true which on the first glimpse appears to be false. The Unites Estates President Donald Trump has said so. According to Mr Trump, Queen Elizabeth Was A Mechanic During World War II.

Down the memory lane of history, the outbreak of World War II in 1939 witnessed many near and dears of the royal family wanting the Queen Mother and her daughters, princesses Elizabeth and Margaret to leave for Canada. That time princess Elizabeth was 13 and Margaret was 9 years old.

Though what Mr Trump said about the last remaining head of state to have served during World War-II, Queen Elizabeth was presented in a manner to admire her versatility, that too in London being hosted by the Queen itself.

Yesterday on 4th of June, 2019 during a royal banquet at Buckingham Palace in London, Trump said: "In April 1945, newspapers featured a picture of the Queen Mother visiting the women's branch of the Army, watching a young woman repair a military truck engine. That young mechanic was the future queen - that great, great woman."
