Prime Minister Modi to meet Ukraine's Zelenskyy at G7 Summit

A source in New Delhi confirmed on Friday that Modi and Zelenskyy will have a private meeting outside of the G7 summit being hosted by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan

On Saturday in Hiroshima, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for the first time since Russia began its "special military operations" in the country of East Europe on February 24 of last year.

A source in New Delhi confirmed on Friday that Modi and Zelenskyy will have a private meeting outside of the G7 summit being hosted by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida of Japan.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will meet separately with Kishida, French President Emmanuel Macron, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Modi and Zelenskyy's meeting is crucial since India has been under fire from the US and other western countries for not denouncing Russia for its military activities in Ukraine.
