Trump Wants Immigrants But Legally

In his State of the Union address, Trump called for people to enter the US legally in “the largest numbers ever.” He said the US Congress has 10 days left to pass a bill that will fund the government, protect the homeland, and secure the southern border.

US President Donald Trump has praised legal immigrants, saying that he wants to see more legal immigrants because additional workers are needed by companies moving back to the United States.

In his State of the Union address, Trump called for people to enter the US legally in “the largest numbers ever.” He said the US Congress has 10 days left to pass a bill that will fund the government, protect the homeland, and secure the southern border.

“We really need people, but it has to be through a legal process and a process really of merit,” he said last week at a meeting on human trafficking on the southern border. “But we do want people coming into our country. They have to come in legally.”

His administration has sent a common sense proposal to Congress to end the crisis on the southern border, the US President said.

It is time for Congress to show the world that America is committed to end illegal immigration, to stop human trafficking and drug dealers out of business, Trump said, adding that large organised caravans are on the march of the United States.

“We have just heard that Mexican cities, in order to remove the illegal immigrants from their communities, are getting trucks and buses to bring them up to our country in areas where there is little border protection”, Trump said.

Trump proclaimed that he will not back off from those matters which he believes is necessary for safety and security for his country.

In the US, thousands of young girls and women are taken advantage by the human traffickers and sex traffickers in a wide open port entry in order to sell the women for prostitution and modern day slavery, he alleged.

Thousands of Americans were killed by lethal drugs that have crossed to US border and brought flood in the cities, Trump added.
